Pomchi origin story
Pomchi is a representative of miniature decorative breeds. An attempt to breed a new breed of pet led to the emergence of a cross between a Spitz and a Chihuahua.
The homeland of rush is considered to be the American continent, and the approximate time of its appearance is the second half of the 20th century. The breed was officially recognized by the American Cynological Federation in 1998. The name pomchi itself hints at the origin of the mestizo and is formed from the first syllables of the two parent breeds – the Pomeranian and Chihuahua – pom + chi.
Mixed orange and Chihuahua has an admixture of other noble breeds: pug, Swedish lapphund. The little dog has absorbed the best features of its relatives.
In appearance, the breed betrays its parent and vaguely resembles a long-haired Chihuahua. Rush has a neat, elongated muzzle, like a fox, a round head. The ears are large in relation to the head circumference, and have a pointed tip. The long coat conceals a broad chest and a strong neck. The body has developed muscles. The pomchi’s tail lies neatly on the back, bending is allowed, but the tail should not be twisted into a ring.
Breed standards matches:

The dog’s menu can be natural, or you can make it on dry food. When choosing feed, you need to pay attention to the composition: the meat content should exceed 30%, in the same range there should be the content of vegetables and cereals in the feed, the composition should include potassium, iodine, calcium, magnesium, iron, as well as herbal oils and extracts. A natural menu should include: lamb, veal, turkey, rice and buckwheat, raw or steamed carrots, pumpkin and beets, raw apple and pear.
